What happens after 2,000 messages?
Nothing dramatic, and never a surprise invoice. The chat carries on out of prepaid credit at the developer rate, roughly €0.002 for a medium message, and if you have no credit it waits for the new month. You decide which, in your account.
Can I cancel the chat plan at any time?
Yes, from the account page, in one click, without writing to anyone. The plan runs to the end of the month you already paid for and then stops. No notice period, no phone call, no retention offer.
What does an AI chatbot cost per employee per month?
On Union AI, €13 a month excluding VAT for the first person and €10 for each extra person on the same plan, on one invoice. That is 53% less per person than ChatGPT Business, which lists at $25 per user per month.
Can I add family members or colleagues to my plan?
Yes. Invite them with a link or by email and each extra person is €10 a month on your invoice, 53% less than ChatGPT Business. Everyone gets the full chat, and you get collaboration folders: a thread in one is open to everyone in the team, so you can work in each other's conversations. Your own threads stay private unless you move them in.
Do the add-ons lock me in?
No. They are monthly too, and each one switches off on its own. Your brand needs Share, because there is nothing to brand without it: that is the only dependency between them.
What does each tier cost per million tokens?
Four tiers, two rates each, excluding VAT. Lite is €0.40 in and €1.60 out per million tokens, Standard €0.70 and €3.50, Long context €1.00 and €2.00, Pro €4.00 and €12.00. Output costs more than input on every tier, because generating text takes longer than reading it.
How much do 1,000 AI API requests cost?
Take a medium request of 900 tokens in and 500 out. A thousand of those costs about €1.16 on the cheapest tier, €2.38 on the workhorse tier and €9.60 on the heaviest, excluding VAT. Your own request size moves all three figures, which is why any per-request price has to name its assumption.
Is there a free tier?
You get 10 API requests free and 5 chat messages free, neither of which asks for a card. After that the API runs on prepaid credit from a €10 top-up, with no monthly minimum and no subscription attached.
What happens when my API credit runs out?
The request is refused with a 402 and a top-up link, and nothing is invoiced afterwards. A request only starts when your balance is at least €0.05, and your balance can never go below zero.
Do I pay VAT on AI credit in the EU?
All prices exclude VAT unless the page says otherwise. Businesses in another EU country with a valid VAT number get the reverse charge, so we add no VAT and you account for it at home. Consumers pay the rate of their own country, added at checkout, and outside the EU the supply falls out of scope.
Why a subscription for the chat but tokens for the API?
Because they are different buyers. Nobody outside a developer team can estimate their monthly token count, so charging a person per token is asking them to sign a blank cheque. A developer cannot plan a product around a seat price. One product, one honest unit each.
Why do you sell tiers instead of model names?
Because model names change and your code should not. A tier is a promise about capability and price; which open-weight model sits behind it today is published on the AI transparency page, and we can replace it without breaking your integration.
